Quanta's AI Server Demand Surges, Chairman Acknowledges Optimistic Outlook

Quanta (2382) Chairman Lin Bai-Li expressed optimism regarding the order outlook for AI servers in 2025 during his attendance at the "Human-Centric AI Era - Inter-University Roundtable Forum" at National Taiwan University on the 29th. He forecasts that the order volume for AI servers will continue to grow throughout this year, with the potential to exceed last year's sales.
Despite market fluctuations caused by tariff wars initiated by Trump and US sanctions on Chinese chips, Lin remains confident in the company’s future performance, believing they can continue to achieve strong results. He emphasized that while the manufacturing sector is gradually recovering, the overall market remains unstable, requiring close monitoring of Trump's future tariff policies and global trade negotiations.
Additionally, Lin noted that there is strong demand for Quanta's AI server products, with order volumes consistently rising, and he anticipates sales to surpass last year's levels. He highlighted that the AI market is filled with unexpected challenges and, as the industry evolves, AI is no longer limited to operating in isolation; rather, it is poised to create a new paradigm.
