Changhua Promotes Youth Entrepreneurship, First Batch of Subsidies Announced

The Changhua County government is committed to supporting youth entrepreneurship by introducing the "Three Entrepreneurship Subsidies" policy in 109, which provides "Youth Entrepreneurship Reward Subsidies" for individuals aged 18 to 45. A total of 134 young entrepreneurs have successfully realized their business dreams through this initiative, with the total subsidy amount exceeding 30 million NTD.

County Mayor Wang Hui-mei stated the government’s dedication to being a strong backing for young entrepreneurs and has continually invested resources to assist youth in returning to their hometowns to start businesses. The results of the first round of subsidy evaluations have been released, with four innovative local startup brands standing out: "Gorge Burger" utilizes local ingredients, "Curry Pine" creates value through food, "Mrs. Hanami" has a patented brand of plum blossom mille-feuille, and "Kha Mao Xian" merges the concepts of slow living and healing.

Businesses receiving subsidies will utilize the funds for product optimization, packaging design, and diverse marketing efforts, enhancing brand visibility and market competitiveness. The Youth Development Department stated that to improve the quality and efficiency of the subsidy program evaluations, a new task force has been established for preliminary assessments. Proposals passing the initial review can supplement their content based on committee suggestions, thereby enhancing the overall quality prior to the final review meeting.

The county government aims to be the strongest support for young entrepreneurship, allowing them to realize their dreams with peace of mind. In addition to financial support, free "Entrepreneurship Dream School" courses will be offered, along with one-on-one entrepreneurship coaching services.
