Taiwan Power Company Recruitment Exam Offers Salaries Up to NT$40,000! Nearly Half of Candidates Missed the Exam
The Taiwan Power Company held its employee recruitment exam on the 4th, attracting approximately 12,000 applicants, with 6,882 actually showing up for the exam, resulting in an acceptance rate of only 15.75%. The exam primarily targets positions in distribution, transmission, and power maintenance, with plans to hire 1,084 individuals. Currently facing a manpower shortage, the company aims to gradually fill positions to ensure stable energy supply and achieve its net-zero emissions goal.
The most competitive category is accounting, where 214 candidates are vying for just three positions. To potentially increase the number of recruits, Taiwan Power will announce additional hiring needs before the initial test results are released. During the exam, professional agencies were present to monitor for fairness and legality, and the second round of testing will begin on August 5.
