Fubon Financial Holding announced on the evening of the 2nd that its board of directors has decided to distribute a cash dividend of 4.25 TWD per share and a stock dividend of 0.25 TWD per share for the 2024 earnings, totaling 4.5 TWD, the highest in the company's history.

Fubon has issued stock dividends from capital reserves for five consecutive years, and according to Taiwan's tax law, shareholders do not have to pay income tax on capital reserve dividends.

When looking solely at cash dividends, which is a priority for foreign investors and dividend stockholders, Fubon's stock price has risen to 85 TWD, resulting in a dividend yield of 5%, which is considered moderate among listed financial stocks.

Regarding the cash dividends for preferred stocks, Fubon also announced plans to distribute 2.74875 TWD per share for Class A preferred shares, 2.16 TWD for Class B preferred shares, and 1.8 TWD for Class C preferred shares. The dividends for both common and preferred stocks are subject to approval at Fubon’s shareholder meeting this year.
