Bureau Stocks Offload Financial Shares, TSMC Recoups NT$930 Million
Today (30th), Taiwan’s stock market closed at 20,235.03 points, up by 2.40 points, or 0.01%. The eight major government stocks saw a total buying surplus of NT$19.45 billion, with significant selling noted among the top ten shares sold, eight of which are financial stocks, particularly E.Sun Financial Holding (2884), Shin Kong Financial (2888), and Cathay Financial (2882).
According to data from 'Wanggu Network', today’s financial stocks showed strong performance, with government stocks offloading shares leading to a recovery in the financial sector. TSMC (2330) also closed positively today, with foreign investors continuously buying shares, allowing the eight government stocks to cash out, selling 1,036 shares for a total of NT$930 million.
