Chinese Happiness Airlines has announced the cancellation of all flights before the May Day holiday due to financial difficulties and unpaid wages for employees for several months. A finance staff member confirmed to the media that the company lacks the funds to continue operations.
According to reports, the airline issued a notice on the 27th to suspend the abnormal flight delay proof function, with a meeting scheduled for the 28th to discuss operational issues. The finance staff later confirmed that all flights from April 28th to 30th had been canceled, citing ongoing financial issues that prevented salary payments to employees.
Founded in 2008, Happiness Airlines currently employs over 1,000 people, operating major routes including Harbin and Changsha. However, many employees have begun seeking side jobs due to the salary issues, revealing a dire situation.
