Facing Economic Crisis, Call to Stop Political Infighting and Unite

On the 26th, the Blue Camp initiated the "Recall Dominance" action, emphasizing the need to stop political infighting and proposing measures to address President Trump's tariff policies, calling for the integration of all parties and relevant industries to face external threats.
As President Trump of the United States implements high tariffs, putting pressure on global trade, Taiwan's economy is severely affected. If negotiations do not reach a consensus, it could result in significant damage to many industries and jobs, leading to a major economic disaster.
In light of the ongoing "Recall Movement," the Kuomintang (KMT) does not wish to lose its position as the largest party in the Legislative Yuan and thus calls for an end to the fighting, stressing the need for a more active stance in responding to the economic crisis. The KMT and the People's Party are cooperating to effectively gather consensus and face challenges together.
KMT Chair Zhu Lilun pointed out that the global focus is on trade wars and economic security, rather than Taiwan's internal political struggles. He emphasized that priority should be given to resolving trade relations with the United States to ensure the safety and stability of people's lives and the economy.
In these difficult times, all sectors must brainstorm and propose measures to address economic challenges, thus achieving consensus and halting infighting to move towards common interests.
