Quanta's 37th Anniversary Celebration: Lin Follows Up on Tariffs and Supply Chain Resilience
During Quanta's 37th anniversary celebration, founder and chairman Lin Bairi expressed confidence in the resilience of Taiwan's supply chain. He pointed out that despite the increase in tariffs, orders remained unaffected and emphasized that Taiwan's IT industry's supply chain is difficult to replicate. Although there are concerns about the impact of rising tariffs on costs and customers, Lin believes that client demand has not changed. He mentioned that while the prices of machinery have risen, the transfer of those costs to consumers is minimal. He maintains an optimistic outlook for the future, planning to shift the business focus from OEM to in-house R&D and expand into international markets.
