Taiwan Tigerair Holds Cabin Crew Recruitment in Kaohsiung, Nearly 1,000 Candidates Qualify for Initial Interview

Taiwan Tigerair conducted a cabin crew recruitment event today (26th) in Kaohsiung, with nearly 1,000 candidates qualifying for the initial interview and an attendance rate close to 90%. Since announcing its base in Kaohsiung at the end of March, the airline has attracted nearly 2,000 job seekers in just two weeks.

After a preliminary document screening, nearly 1,000 candidates participated in the initial interview, with a second interview scheduled for May 3. The selected cabin crew members are expected to report in the second half of 2025. Taiwan Tigerair’s Chief Operating Officer, Lai Jun-Di, was also present to oversee the recruitment process, emphasizing the operation of multiple international routes departing from Kaohsiung and the strong travel demand in the southern region.

To select crew members who align with the brand's service characteristics, candidates must undergo a high jump test without shoes and participate in group interviews. They will be required to read an English passage and conduct translations to assess their language proficiency, calmness, and clarity of speech. Those performing well in the initial test may proceed to the second interview, focusing on personal qualities and teamwork spirit.

The successful candidates will become cabin crew members of Taiwan Tigerair and will begin training after reporting in the second half of this year, having the chance to wear the airline's uniform after completing an 8-week ground and in-flight training program.
