Central and Changhua-Tou Division Launches 'Industry-Academia Training Program' for Youth Career Development

The Central and Changhua-Tou Division of the Workforce Development Agency has launched the 'Industry-Academia Training Program 2.0' aimed at enhancing practical skills for students and helping them secure positions in the workplace early. This year, they will collaborate with four schools: Taichung Industrial High School, Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, National Taipei University of Technology, and Nankai University of Technology to offer seven classes, including precision machinery and electromechanical control, with an expected enrollment of 276 students.
After completing the program, students can acquire skills, certifications, and job opportunities simultaneously, thereby enhancing their employability. A success story shared by the agency involves Wu Cheng-You from Dongshi, who transformed from a technical novice to an entrepreneurial expert through this program.
This initiative is designed for youth aged 15 to 29, allowing them to receive professional training while in school and enter employment immediately upon graduation. Enrollment for the 114 academic year has officially begun. More information can be found on the agency's official website or by calling for inquiries.
