U.S. Stock Market Rises! All Four Major Indices Up, TSMC ADR Jumps 2.4%, NVIDIA Surges 2.48%

Today (24th), the four major U.S. indices opened higher. As of 10:20 PM Taiwan time, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 127.73 points, or 0.32%, reaching 39,734.30 points; the S&P 500 index was up 50.92 points, or 0.95%, at 5,426.78 points; the tech-heavy Nasdaq index rose by 246.30 points, or 1.47%, to reach 16,954.35 points; and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index increased by 116.82 points, or 4.19%, to reach 4,150.74 points.
Regarding individual stocks, NVIDIA rose by 2.55, or 2.48%, bringing its price to 105.26; Tesla increased by 6.43, or 2.57%, to a price of 257.17; and TSMC ADR rose by 3.79, or 2.40%, reaching 161.60.
