Taiwanese Manufacturers Face Surge of Urgent Orders Worth Billions, Working Overtime

As the trade war looms, Taiwan's traditional industries have recently received urgent orders from U.S. clients. Notably, Hoda Group has secured a large order of 200 million NTD per month for three consecutive months. Chairman Sheng Guorong expressed his gratitude, stating, "After a long drought, we are finally experiencing a good harvest!" With increasing demands for stock replenishment from U.S. customers, Taiwanese manufacturers are required to work overtime to meet these orders.
In addition to Hoda, companies like Schintec and Baixin have also begun to work overtime, prompting industry estimates that overall orders could reach tens of billions. Sheng highlighted that major U.S. customers of electric and fuel vehicles have agreed to ship existing semi-finished and finished products within 90 days, projecting an estimated 200 million NTD increase in sales each month across three months.
