Wey Tzhijia Urges 'Buying More Stocks Is Never Wrong,' Yet Over 12,000 TSMC Shareholders Choose to Sell

According to the latest data, the number of TSMC shareholders has decreased by over 12,000 in just a week, reflecting a change in investor behavior. Chairman Wey Tzhijia emphasized at the shareholder meeting that 'buying more stocks is never wrong,' expressing confidence in the company's operational outlook. However, many small shareholders have chosen to cash out as the stock price approaches the 1,000 NT dollar mark.
As of Friday, TSMC's shareholder count has dropped to 1,791,696. The share price has rebounded 26.75%, rising from 785 NT dollars on April 9 to 995 NT dollars on Friday. Wey stated that TSMC is expected to continue stable growth this year and urged shareholders to keep supporting the company.
