The Tainan City Government recently conducted a summer intern recruitment that attracted many college students for interviews, offering a total of 125 positions aimed at helping them gain workplace experience and explore career paths. The recruitment process took place on the morning of the 7th at the Shanhua Cultural and Recreational Center, where students confidently interacted with interviewers.
This year’s acceptance rate stands at 34.25%, with the list of successful candidates available at this link. The most competitive position was the finance management summer internship plan from the Department of Finance, with 25 candidates vying for just two spots.
The Director of the Labor Bureau, Wang Hsin-Chi, stated that the public sector summer internship program has received positive feedback since its inception, allowing students to “learn by doing” and gaining hands-on experience in government operations, fostering responsibility and discipline while preparing them for future workplaces. Additionally, the Labor Bureau is planning several in-job training courses to enhance students’ self-marketing, career planning, and job safety skills, aiming for them to apply their learning in practice.
