The eight situations that could lead to insurance cancellation include: 1. Being a ghost member with only nominal coverage without actual employment; 2. Unauthorized double insurance; 3. Lack of necessary licenses for certain industries while still insured; 4. Enrollment during hospital stays; 5. Imprisonment due to criminal activity; 6. Long-term residency abroad while still claiming union membership; 7. Failure to pay union dues leading to potential cancellation; 8. Leaving the industry or withdrawing from the union will also result in cancellation of coverage.
