Prop Traders Sell Over NT$3 Billion! Mass Selling of Hon Hai and TSMC Sends Investors into Panic
Taiwan's stock market closed down 254.65 points today, landing at 20532.99 points, a decline of 1.23%, with a transaction volume of NT$387.45 billion. According to post-market data from the stock exchange, prop traders sold NT$3.499 billion today, with the largest sell-off seen in AI stock Hon Hai (2317), which saw 2,642 shares sold. This was followed by TSMC (2330) and financial stock CTBC (2891), selling 1,722 and 1,060 shares, respectively. In response to this selling pressure, many investors expressed their concerns, saying, "Please stop selling."
