As the June graduation season approaches, the starting salaries of fresh graduates have garnered attention. According to data compiled by Yahoo Stock from the Public Information Observatory, the starting salary situation for 2019 has been revealed. The highest starting salary for master's graduates is held by TSMC (2330) at 65,130 NTD, ranking first among listed companies. Meanwhile, the highest starting salary for university graduates is claimed by IC distributor AnChi (3528) at 58,889 NTD.

Interestingly, while TSMC excels among master's graduates, it only ranks 17th among university graduates, falling behind Evergreen Marine (2603) which offers an average salary of 49,000 NTD. The report indicates that 192 companies voluntarily disclosed their starting salaries, with the majority of salaries exceeding 50,000 NTD, reflecting the competition in the current job market.

Moreover, the previously hot real estate market also shows effects, with Sinyi Realty (9940) achieving an average salary of 50,000 NTD to claim the top position for traditional industries. This highlights differing salary strategies across industries. Overall, the electronics sector continues to offer starting salaries that are typically higher than those in other industries, and this trend is expected to continue.
