Summer Electricity Rates Starting June 1st, Impacting 15 Million Households
As summer temperatures rise, the use of air conditioners and fans increases, leading to higher electricity rates. Starting June 1st, a four-month period of summer rates will be implemented, raising concerns about electricity bills, especially for larger consumers who will need to watch their usage closely.
Approximately 15 million low-voltage households will face these costs. Businesses will implement various energy-saving measures, such as turning off lights when not in use and minimizing air conditioning.
