Industrial computer giant Advantech (2395) announced today that it will showcase 'Edge Computing & WISE-Edge in Action' as its main theme at the 2025 COMPUTEX Taipei International Computer Show. Facing the strengthening of the New Taiwan Dollar, Chairman Liu Kezhen stated that Advantech's overseas market largely earns revenue in US dollars, with the exchange rate currently appreciating by about 3% to 5%. While the exchange differences will affect profits and EPS, they are not at a crisis level yet.

Liu noted that with the rapid development of AI and edge computing, Advantech, as a pioneer in the AI edge computing market, will continue to enhance its technical capabilities and implement diverse industry applications. This year, with 'Edge Computing & WISE-Edge in Action' as the theme driving a series of COMPUTEX activities, Advantech aims to integrate hardware and software at the edge through the WISE-Edge platform, enabling global customers to innovate in a rapidly changing market.

Advantech stated that it will host a series of thematic forums, exhibitions, and online live events to explore the infinite potential of AI edge computing in collaboration with global customers and partners. The company will first hold its annual forum on May 19, welcoming global tech leaders to discuss future trends in AI and edge computing.
