Wandao Bank Announces Dividend of 0.5 Yuan for This Year, Highest in 9 Years, Yield Reaches 5.3%
Wandao Commercial Bank announced tonight (2nd) that its board of directors has decided to distribute a cash dividend of 0.5 Yuan per share from its earnings for 2024, marking the highest level in the past nine years (2017–2025). Based on today's closing price of 9.5 Yuan per share, the cash dividend yield is approximately 5.3%, ranking among the top in listed financial stocks.
Additionally, the bank announced plans for the cash dividends of preferred stocks, proposing to distribute 0.36821995 Yuan per share for Type A preferred stocks and 0.14459016 Yuan per share for Type B preferred stocks. These ordinary and preferred stock dividend distributions still need to be approved at the upcoming shareholders' meeting on June 13 this year.
