Entry-Level Salary Market Revealed! Master's Degree at 49K, Bachelor's at 33K

The Ministry of Labor released the statistical results for 113 years regarding 'first-time employees (fresh graduates)' salaries on the 30th, showing a median salary of 33,000 for entry-level positions, with vocational and bachelor's degree holders also at 33,000, while master's degree holders received 49,000. The average salary for entry-level positions is 37,000, with bachelor's graduates at 34,000 and master's graduates at 52,000.
In terms of salary increase, in the case of individuals who remained employed from 112 to 113 years, their salaries increased on average by 15.7% after acquiring skills. Regarding gender pay disparity, women entry-level employees earned an average of 91.3% of their male counterparts' salaries, indicating a gender pay gap of 8.7%.
In terms of education, in 113 years, 91.2% of entry-level employees had an education level of at least a bachelor's degree, with 19.5% holding a master's degree. The top three industries employing these graduates included manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and healthcare services.
Moreover, the survey indicated that in 113 years, 18.7% of entry-level employees began with a salary of 'minimum wage of 27,470', which decreased by 4.7 percentage points from 112 years. This was the first time since 110 years that this figure dropped below 20%, showing a gradual willingness of employers to offer salaries above the minimum wage.
