Earnings Reports Unveil Strong Performance from Delta Electronics and Lite-On, Expecting Record Revenues from AI Gains

The earnings report week has officially started, with companies like MediaTek, AUO, and Realtek announcing their performance results. Among them, industry giants Delta Electronics (2308) and Lite-On (2301) are set to hold an earnings call on April 30 to discuss the impact of equal tariffs and the outlook for Q2 operations. With the surging demand for AI, both companies anticipate robust benefits from related revenue streams, potentially setting new records.
Delta Electronics will release its Q1 financial report on April 29, expecting to surpass the '100 billion' revenue mark to achieve a historical high of NT$118.9 billion, bolstered by strong server power supply business performance. In March and April, Delta's revenues exceeded NT$40 billion and NT$43.4 billion respectively, demonstrating its strong advantages in AI power and cooling demand.
Lite-On will unveil its Q1 earnings during the earnings call, focusing on the shipment trends of edge computing, optoelectronic semiconductor products, and plans for expanding BBU (Backup Battery Unit) production capacity. Lite-On is projected to achieve a 50% revenue share from AI by next year. Additionally, Lite-On’s performance in cloud computing and networking is noteworthy, with these sectors accounting for 43% of its total revenue, ultimately driving Q1 revenues to NT$36.4 billion, reflecting a 27% year-over-year increase.
