The Taiwanese stock market surged by 393.92 points on the 25th, reflecting a 2.02% increase. It briefly touched the 20,000-point mark but closed at 19,872.73 points. South Korean memory giant SK Hynix released its earnings report on the 24th, which was better than market expectations, but issued a warning about weak memory demand for the second half of the year. On the same day, major players dumped 16,000 shares of Nanya Technology (2408) and have cumulatively sold 37,000 shares over the last 15 days, making it the most sold stock. China Airlines (2610) also saw a reduction of 12,000 shares, ranking second in sales volume.
According to statistics from a trading website, the top five net sales on the 25th were led by Nanya Technology (2408) with 16,816 shares sold, down 1.07%, closing at 37 NT$; followed by China Airlines (2610) with 12,727 shares, down 1.88%, closing at 20.9 NT$; Yang Ming (2609) with 9,028 shares, down 1.55%, closing at 69.8 NT$; Evergreen Marine (2618) with 6,951 shares, down 0.77%, closing at 38.7 NT$; and Tatung Company (2371) with 6,817 shares, down 2.57%, closing at 39.85 NT$.
