TSMC (2330) closed at NT$897, up by NT$9. In terms of key electronic stocks, Hon Hai (2317) finished at NT$142.5, gaining NT$3.5; MediaTek (2454) dropped NT$30, closing at NT$1,350; Quanta (2382) finished at NT$245, up NT$10; Delta Electronics (2308) rose NT$10, closing at NT$340.5; ASE Technology Holding (3711) closed at NT$137, down NT$5; Largan Precision (3008) ended at NT$2,210, decreasing by NT$15.

For financial stocks, Fubon Financial (2881) closed at NT$79.2, down NT$0.2; Cathay Financial (2882) finished at NT$54.6, up NT$0.5; CTBC Financial (2891) ended at NT$38, increasing by NT$1.05; Mega Financial (2886) closed at NT$37.3, down NT$0.15; Hua Nan Financial (2880) ended at NT$26.45, slightly up by NT$0.05; First Financial (2892) remained flat at NT$24.95; and Hsinchu Bank (5880) closed at NT$23.9, up NT$0.15.

The top 10 stocks by transaction volume today were CTBC Financial, Innolux, Hon Hai, KGI Securities, Shin Kong Financial, Apex Precision, Nanya Technology, Shinetek, Meidatech, and Quanta. The top five gainers were Everlight Electronics, Da Tong New Creation, Yang Zhi, Jialiang, and Ming Wang Technology; while the top five losers were Guanxi Electric, Lai Yi-KY, Longhua, Zhongfu, and Zhiqiang-KY.
