Recently, a netizen shared their experience of transitioning to a job in Arizona from last year, where they were hired as a power systems contractor for TSMC, mainly working in a cleanroom from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The user revealed that the pay is quite generous, as they are on an hourly wage system without pay for no work. However, if they work overtime, their weekly income can reach up to $3,100, and even without overtime, they can earn $1,800 a week, which converts to approximately NT$200,000 to NT$350,000 per month.

The netizen emphasized that they are sharing their experience not to show off but rather to provide references for others who wish to work abroad. They also mentioned that TSMC has plans to build five more factories in the U.S., predicting that such opportunities will last for about ten years, and once the entire TSMC complex is completed, they might consider retirement.
