National Chung Hsing University Job Fair Features 52 Companies with Salaries Up to NT$90,000

National Chung Hsing University has invited fifty-two companies from the mechanical, semiconductor, and metal manufacturing industries to provide nearly 1,700 job vacancies, with the highest salary reaching NT$90,000.

To assist recent graduates and current students in grasping new employment trends, the university hosted a job fair titled "Deeply Cultivating Local × Smooth Employment" on the 24th at the student activity center. This event creates a zero-distance interaction platform between students and companies, helping graduates seize their job opportunities.

During the event, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Labor's Central and Changhua Office, Ruan Qichuan, encouraged students, stating that despite the impact of Tariff 2.0, companies remain confident, and job vacancies are still increasing. The government also provides employment subsidies to encourage stable employment for young people and employment allowances to help them feel secure during the waiting period.

Professor Peng Sixian, the university's Director of Research and Development, emphasized that the university encourages students to enhance their processes in order to meet workplace demands. Industry-academic collaboration and internships provide a great opportunity for industries to find talent. International Affairs Director Song Zhonglin noted that there are about 600 foreign students on campus who are lively and polite, eager to find job opportunities to fill industry manpower gaps.

The participating companies included well-known enterprises such as Silitech Technology Corporation, Evergreen Steel Corporation, and Jin-Chun Industrial Co., Ltd. Company representatives introduced their companies' philosophies, cultures, job requirements, and future prospects, accepting resumes and facilitating initial interviews on-site for direct matchmaking. The highest salary offered was for a welding engineer in the wind power industry, with a monthly salary between NT$70,000 to NT$90,000. This event serves as an excellent platform for students to showcase themselves and seek job opportunities while gaining insights into industry dynamics and building networks.
