Kaohsiung Labor Bureau Holds Labor Law Seminar and Explains Government Support for Tariff Impact

The Kaohsiung Labor Bureau held its second "Labor Law Seminar" on the 23rd and 24th at the Guanzihling Fuyou Hot Spring Hotel to enhance the understanding of labor regulations among business managers, labor groups, and labor-management representatives. The seminar featured professional lecturers who explained key points of the regulations, shared case studies, and provided practical guidelines to foster effective communication between employers and employees, aiming to reduce labor disputes.

In addition, the bureau explained various government support programs in response to the impacts of U.S. tariffs, including employment stabilization measures and retraining programs. Bureau Director Wang Hsin-chi emphasized the importance of raising awareness of emerging workplace issues, such as workplace bullying, through the experience shared by experts, while also providing necessary legal assistance and employment services to protect the rights of workers.
