Luxury Home Tax Reform: Unit Price Now Included in Tax Threshold
As the tax filing season approaches in May, the traditional concept of luxury home tax is set to undergo a transformation. The Ministry of Finance has revised the tax system for 'high-priced homes' to include the unit price for the first time. Outside the six municipalities, any property with a unit price of NT$350,000 will be classified as a 'luxury home.' This year, it is estimated that over 4,000 individuals will be subject to the luxury home tax.
