Central Branch Hosts First Employer Forum of 114th Year with Enthusiastic Corporate Participation

The Central Branch held its first “Employer Forum” of the 114th year in Yuanlin, attracting top executives from 44 companies, who expressed keen interest in the role of HR in digital transformation and other pressing issues.

According to the Central Taiwan Branch, the theme of the meeting was “Corporate Talent Development and Digital Transformation Strategies,” focusing on challenges presented by Taiwan's aging society and the digital era. Industry expert Lan Yusheng emphasized that HR departments are the engines of digital transformation and encouraged companies to nurture internal digital leaders.

Amidst labor shortages, companies are urged to establish digital recruitment mindsets and utilize big data for talent inventory. The Central Branch also encourages the use of resources from the Ministry of Labor to enhance employees' digital skills, especially focusing on the potential of older workers and women.

Additionally, in light of recent U.S. tariff issues, the Ministry of Labor introduced various support measures for affected companies. Forum participants reported that they gained valuable insights from the discussions.

The next forum will continue the same theme on May 13 in Changhua, fostering deeper cooperation with enterprises.
