ASRock's CEO Hsu Long-Lun: AI Server Demand Strong, Revenue Estimated to Reach NT$50 Billion

ASRock (3515) held its shareholder meeting on the 28th, where CEO Hsu Long-Lun stated in a media interview that the company expects to challenge NT$50 billion in revenue this year, thanks to the ongoing strong demand for AI servers, representing over a 50% year-on-year increase. Hsu indicated that although the profit margins for AI-related products are relatively low, which may compress the consolidated gross margin, the company plans to support its overall profit structure through product mix adjustments and growth in scale.

This year, ASRock's server products will continue to focus on NVIDIA platforms, with the primary product in the first quarter being H200, transitioning to B200 in the second quarter, and introducing B300 in small quantities starting in the third quarter, with a significant ramp-up expected in September. Hsu admitted, "The B200 has a short lifespan, and customers are actively transitioning to B300, so the overall pace should be faster than expected."

Despite the low gross margin of AI servers, the rapid expansion in shipment scale significantly contributes to overall revenue, with estimates suggesting that AI servers will account for 40% to 50% of total revenue, becoming the main growth engine for the company. Regarding currency and tariff risks, Hsu stated that they remain manageable, as most of ASRock's exports are duty-free, limiting pressure from currency fluctuations.

ASRock has also established local assembly in California through partnerships, allowing them to avoid building factories and alleviating additional capital expenditure pressures. As for the motherboard and graphics card businesses, they are also performing steadily, with motherboard shipments expected to increase by 5% to 10% this year, while VGA business is benefiting from AMD's new architecture release and market share growth.
