U.S. Tariff Policies Affecting Shenda, Stock Price Drops Below 5-Day Average

Last week's (04/14–04/18) weighted index of the Taiwan Stock Exchange fell by 133.74 points, closing at 19395.03 points for a decline of 0.68%. According to statistics from 'Wanggu.com,' the eight major public banks in Taiwan sold off the most shares of Shenda (3706), with a total of 6,952 shares sold, amounting to approximately NT$354 million.

Due to the impact of U.S. tariff policies, industrial computer manufacturer Shenda has expanded its assembly plants in the U.S. and accelerated production in Vietnam. However, reports indicate that Nvidia's H20 and AMD's MI308 chips have been placed on the U.S. restricted exports list to China, causing concerns over Shenda’s shipments and leading to a drop in stock price below the 5-day moving average on the 17th, with a weekly decrease of 0.79%, closing at NT$50.4.
