Attention Workers! Two Labor Unions Owe Premiums, Labor Insurance Bureau Denies Payments

The Labor Insurance Bureau of the Ministry of Labor has announced that two labor unions have overdue labor insurance and occupational accident insurance premiums.
As of April 16 this year, the Taipei Beauty Hairdressing Technical Counselors Union and the Taoyuan Rental Management Service Workers Union have outstanding premiums and are subject to administrative enforcement from the Bureau, which will temporarily deny all benefits to their members.
The Labor Insurance Bureau has warned that if a union accumulates two months of unpaid labor insurance premiums, they can no longer collect premiums from members. Workers are urged to confirm the payment status of their unions to protect their rights.
If insured members can provide proof of premium payment, benefits may still be granted; otherwise, they need to settle their indebted premiums to receive entitled benefits.
