The Taiwan Employment Development Agency's Zhongzhang and Taitung branch recently held its first 'Employer Forum' of 114 in Yuanlin, attracting 44 corporate executives. Experts led discussions on the role of human resources in digital transformation, the establishment of digital talent selection mindsets, and the formulation of strategies for digital transformation.

Furthermore, the Zhongzhang and Taitung branch provided innovative strategies for a diverse workforce along with various resources from the Ministry of Labor. In response to concerns about US tariffs, they introduced support measures including funding for affected companies to conduct vocational training, with grants up to NT$2 million, training subsidies for workers on reduced hours, and integrated employment services for unemployed individuals affected by these tariffs. Initial job seekers were also offered career counseling and job-seeking allowances, with funding adjustments aligned with the latest situations available on the Ministry of Labor's official website.
