The latest report reveals that the average monthly salary in Taiwan reached 46,000 NTD last year. However, many workers feel that their wages have not increased accordingly, prompting questions like, 'Who stole my salary?'
Despite the statistics indicating a rise in average salary, the increase among higher earners has been more significant, leading to a growing disparity in income. Low and middle-income workers have not seen a substantial increase in their actual earnings, further widening the gap with higher income earners.
