The chairman of Fubon Group, Tsai Ming-chung, along with his brother, has recently returned to Forbes' list as Taiwan's richest person. Speaking at an event, Tsai noted that this development is 'not worth mentioning.' He highlighted the recent surge in the New Taiwan Dollar's exchange rate, which has impacted all 14 local financial holdings, resulting in their first monthly loss of over NT$6.8 billion this year. Despite this, Tsai expressed confidence in the market, stating that the uncertainties of exchange losses cannot be predicted, and Taiwan's economic momentum remains strong.
