Government to Disburse Various Subsidies in June, Eligible Citizens Can Receive Nearly 20,000 TWD!

The Labor Insurance Bureau has announced that starting in June, 15 different subsidy programs will be launched, covering maternity benefits, funeral grants, and monthly pensions. The most beneficiaries are from the Labor Insurance pension program, with an average monthly amount close to 20,000 TWD, and over 1.87 million people have claimed these benefits.

According to the Labor Insurance Bureau's data, the subsidies for June will be credited in batches, with the first round being the 'National Pension Maternity Benefit,' which will be disbursed starting June 5. The maximum amount eligible for claim is 39,522 TWD based on a two-month insured amount, with the current monthly insurance amount at 19,761 TWD. To qualify, applicants must give birth within the valid coverage period and not have claimed other social insurance maternity benefits.

Additionally, the number of beneficiaries for Labor Insurance pensions has surpassed 1.87 million, with an average monthly payout of 19,344 TWD. Individuals may apply starting from the month they retire, and payments will start by the end of the following month and continue until death.

For 'National Pension Old-Age Pension,' currently about 1.5 million people are collecting benefits, with an average monthly amount of around 4,000 TWD. Applicants who choose the 'Basic Guaranteed Pension' can receive about 4,049 TWD monthly and can apply once they reach 65 years of age.

The disbursement schedule for June includes: June 5 and 12 for National Pension Maternity Benefits, June 16 for Funeral Benefits, June 20 for farmer's monthly retirement savings and elderly farmer subsidies, June 25 for National Pension Basic Guaranteed Pension and Indigenous Peoples Benefits, and June 27 for Labor Insurance Pension, Disaster Insurance Pension, and other grants.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to pay attention to the timing of disbursement, depending on individual circumstances. It is recommended to regularly check the Labor Insurance Bureau's website to avoid missing out on eligible subsidies.
