Old Factory Development Holds 50 Billion Opportunity! Shares of Shi Paper Rise 26% Over the Week as Volume Increases

According to the latest reports, Taiwan's stock market fell overall by 191.45 points last week, closing at 21,652.24 points for a drop of 0.88%. However, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's announcement of a new headquarters in Beishi Ke has boosted shares of the "Three Treasures of Shilin"—Shi Paper (1903), Shidian (1503), and Xinfang (1419). Shi Paper's stock price surged from NT$57.6 to NT$72.6 last week, achieving a weekly increase of 26.04%, with trading volume reaching 62,306 shares, making it the winner of both price and volume increases.
Shi Paper's land assets have also drawn significant attention, with the 12,000 ping Shilin paper mill's old factory having passed historical building restoration plans in Q4 of last year. There are plans to submit an urban renewal project in Q4 of this year, with an estimated development benefit exceeding NT$50 billion. Additionally, renovations for the hotel redevelopment project at Warehouse No. 5 are set to begin after obtaining a usage permit in Q2 of this year, with trial operations expected to start in 2026.
